Electrosurgery

Packages from £350

Electrosurgery is a specialist, accurate and effective treatment for persistent lesions such as corns and verrucae. You will be given a local anaesthetic to numb the area that is to be treated, after this you won’t feel a thing! The offending lesion is pared down with a scalpel. Electrodesiccation is then carried out by touching it with a small probe several times. Your Podiatrist will advise whether this treatment is a suitable and safe option for you following your initial assessment.

Nail Surgery

Packages from £500

Nail Surgery is a minor operation that involves the removal of a small portion of nail. This procedure is indicated for ingrown toenails - did you know that 20% of all Podiatry appointments are made because of an ingrown toenail? Ingrown nails pose a great risk of infection and pain and nail surgery offers a permanent solution to the problem. You will also receive a local anaesthetic prior to this procedure to numb the toe. Your Podiatrist will advise whether this treatment is a suitable and safe option for you following your initial assessment.

Verruca Needling

Packages from £400

Falknor`s needling technique is an innovative and effective treatment for verrucae. This procedure will be carried out with the affected area numbed by local anaesthetic. The verruca lesion is then carefully needled to implant the virus into the dermal layer of the skin so that the body’s immune system is able to identify and destroy the virus. Your Podiatrist will advise whether this treatment is a suitable and safe option for you following your initial assessment.
