Meet The team
At J&L Health, we strive to provide the best possible patient care from the very beginning and here are the people that make it happen…
Ami NICHOLLS
BSc (Hons) pod, rCPod, HCPC reg (POM-A, POM-S)
Principal Podiatrist / Clinical Director
Hi! I’m Ami.
Along with Hannah, I am one of the Directors at J&L Health, and you will find me at Godalming Podiatry Clinic from Monday-Friday.
I qualified from UWIC University with a 1st class degree with honours in Podiatry. After finishing my training I spent the first part of my career working at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, working in high-risk and musculoskeletal clinics. I then went on to work at Central Surrey Health where I specialised in the diabetic foot. In recent years, I have worked within the private sector, and have developed a keen interest in minor surgeries.
When i’m not fixing feet, I am a Mum to my 3 year old Son and cockapoo, Teddy. We love exploring the Surrey countryside, going on long walks together and most importantly, finding a good pub at the end!
Robson brown
BSc (Hons) POD, RCPod, HCPC REG (POM-A, POM-S)
associate podiatrist
Hi, I’m Robson.
I am a fully qualified podiatrist, having graduated from the University of Brighton. I am registered with the royal college of podiatry and HCPC (Health care profession Council).
I currently split my time between working for the NHS and J&L health, you can find me at the J&L clinics on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
I am someone who has a passion for musculoskeletal health (the functioning of muscles and bones in the body), am confident in treating many skin and nail pathologies you might commonly find on the feet (verruca’s and fungal nails, I’m looking at you!) and have lots of experience treating diabetic, high risk patients with foot wounds.
In my spare time I love to walk my dog, practice jiu-jitsu and cook up some delicious food!
I look forward to meeting you!
Hannah Jackson
BSc (Hons) pod, rCPod, HCPC REG, (POM-A, POM-S)
Clinical Director
Hi, I’m Hannah.
I live and work in Cheshire. Although you may not see me around the clinic as often as Ami, I am always on hand to answer any queries you may have, clinical or otherwise.
I graduated from University of Southampton in 2014 with a 1st class honours degree in Podiatry and was awarded the Dean’s award for highest overall achiever. I enjoyed my studies so much that I am now completing an MSc in Clinical Biomechanics at Staffordshire University. I have a passion for biomechanics and gait analysis which has led me to my current role, as the Clinical Lead in Biomechanics at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
During my spare time I enjoy playing netball, walking my three dogs and practicing yoga.
